When you make a purchase from Pennwood, our relationship with you is just getting started. We offer complete installation services, whether it’s a standard install or completely custom, Pennwood can handle it. We can help from first sketch to the final coat of paint and everything in between. But our relationship still doesn't end there. While we make every effort to provide our customers with the most reliable products, eventually every unit is going to require some type of service. Whether it's just an annual cleaning or a part wears out, we have a full time service department to take care of your needs. Pennwood also has a chimney sweep division called Sootslayer Chimney Sweeps. Their CSIA certified sweeps can inspect, clean, and repair your fireplace and flue. Every cleaning and inspection includes a video scan of the flue.

Pennwood Home and Hearth was founded in 1975 as a pallet manufacturer. Over time, power equipment and stove sales and service were added to the business. Due to market conditions and consumer demand, Pennwood has evolved into central Pennsylvania's leading hearth and patio retailer and installer.Facilities & Showroom
Over 12,000 square feet of showroom with more than 60 burning displays. Burn units display many different styles of finish. We have a design center for displaying various mantel styles and finishes as well as different tile, stone, marble, and granite options. We have a well large parts room stocked with the most popular replacement parts. We have a shop for in house repairs and reconditioning. We have a wood shop and fabrication shop for building custom made mantels and heath pads. We have lots of area for storing wood pellets so we are able to keep them in stock year round.Services We Provide
We have a complete service department with five full time employees. We service what we sell as well as most vented gas fireplaces and stoves. Unfortunately we are only able to service vent-free gas and wood pellet products we sell. Whether you just need an annual cleaning or every component on your unit needs replaced because your basement flooded, our techs can handle it. All of our techs receive factory and industry approved training regularly. Just give our service manager a call and he will take care of getting everything scheduled.Specialties

Custom installations- We can do complete turnkey installations from the first sketch to the last coat of paint. Most of the time there is no need to call in any other contractors. 3D renderings- If you just can't visualize what your new fireplace is going to look like, we can use SketchUp to produce a three dimensional drawing of the finished product.
